Prayer for Protection (for Travel or Dangerous Times)
Psalm 91, Psalm 121 (NIV)
Lord, You are my hiding place. I ask for Your protection over me, my family, and my home. Surround us with Your angels. Guard our going out and our coming in, from this time forth and forever.
Protect us from accidents, from violence, from sickness, and from the evil one. If we travel, be our co-pilot. Watch over our vehicles, our flights, our steps. Give us alertness and wisdom to avoid danger.
Cover our home with the blood of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against us prosper. Expose any hidden plans of the enemy. I pray for our children – keep them safe at school, with friends, and online.
When I am afraid, I will trust in You. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. I will not fear the terror by night nor the arrow that flies by day.
