Morning Prayer for Grace and Guidance
Psalm 143:8 (NIV)
Heavenly Father, thank You for this new morning. Thank You for the gift of breath, for waking me up, and for another chance to live for Your glory.
As the sun rises, let Your light rise in my heart. Guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions today. Help me to see Your hand in every moment – in the smile of a stranger, in the beauty of creation, in the challenges that make me stronger.
Lord, I surrender this day to You. Every plan I make, every step I take – let them be ordered by Your will. When I am tempted to worry, remind me that You are in control. When I am tempted to rush, slow me down to notice Your presence.
Give me patience with difficult people, wisdom for hard decisions, and kindness for everyone I meet. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that my life today brings honor to Your name.
I pray for my family, my friends, and anyone who will read this prayer. May they feel Your peace and love today.
